What

Women are starting small businesses at a higher rate than men and earn business revenues above the national average. Join Geri Aglipay, Small Business Majority National Women's Entrepreneurship Manager, for a roundtable and presentation on issues and policies that impact the economic security of women small business owners, especially women of color.

Women entrepreneurs’ engagement on policy issues activates change that supports economic security for their businesses, their employees, their families and their local communities. This women-only roundtable will focus on topics and resources such as healthcare, fair lending, paid family and medical leave, affordable childcare and student debt.

These roundtables are part of Small Business Majority's “BYOB—Be Your Own Boss” women’s entrepreneurship roundtable series in partnership with New Covenant Community Development Corporation and North Lawndale Chamber of Commerce. For questions, contact Geri Aglipay at [email protected]

This event is no-cost and light refreshments will be provided. Space is limited, so please register in advance (this event is for aspiring and current women entrepreneurs only)
