On December 20, Small Business Majority joined the American Sustainable Business Network, Businesses for Conservation and Climate Action, Main Street Alliance and the South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce in filing an amicus brief before the United States Supreme Court. The brief argues that efforts to enable any business to circumvent regulatory statute of limitations would create uncertainty and confusion for businesses seeking to remain in compliance with the law.

On December 18, Small Business Majority CEO and Founder John Arensmeyer provided feedback on the proposed rule to update the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) regulations on unfair or deceptive practices relating to fees for goods and services.

On December 1, Small Business Majority's CEO John Arensmeyer provided written comments on the Request for Information (RFI) regarding the coverage of over-the-counter (OTC) preventive services for reproductive healthcare specifically as it relates to contraceptives access and availability. Access to quality and affordable reproductive healthcare, including preventive services, is critical for ensuring full participation in entrepreneurship and business ownership.

On November 20, Small Business Majority filed an amicus brief alongside nearly 40 companies and individuals doing business in Texas before the Texas Supreme Court in the case of Zurawski v. Texas. The brief argues that the state's restrictive abortion bans are bad for the business community and are having a negative impact on the state’s economy—including an estimated $14.5 billion in lost revenue each year.

On November 14, Small Business Majority, alongside 20 business support organizations, submitted comments to the U.S. Small Business Administration in response to their proposed rule that would update eligibility for justice-impacted individuals seeking loans through the Agency. The letter outlines support  for the rule and offers recommendations on how to continue to serve justice-impacted entrepreneurs. 

On November 7, Small Business Majority submitted comments to the U.S. Deparrtment of Labor in response to their proposed rule that would update eligibility for overtime pay.

On November 3, Small Business Majority submitted written testimony to the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance in support of a national paid family and medical leave program to help the small business community.

On November 1, Small Business Majority sent a letter to Majority Leader Schumer, Minority Leader McConnell, Chair Murray and Ranking Member Collins urging them to include funding for the childcare industry to any supplemental funding package considered by the Senate Appropriations Committee.
