WHAT: Small Business Majority is hosting a full-day event Jan. 30 in Los Angeles that will offer California small business owners a platform for meaningful dialogue about issues facing the state’s small business community, as well as the opportunity to learn how to grow their businesses through educational workshops on critical issues like lending, healthcare, retirement and more. The  2019 California Small Business Summit: Building Local Economies will be an interactive mix of panel discussions, presentations, keynotes and breakout sessions featuring expert advice from business assistance providers and successful small business owners. Session topics include:

  • Finding funding to expand your business

  • Hiring and retaining employees
